Event Date
13th September 2017

A one-day-only SSDL Change Exchange Learning Event will take place on September 13th at The Newman Institute, Ballina, Co. Mayo.

The 2017 SSDL (Supported Self Directed Living) Change Exchange Learning Events are offered in four different locations and dates around the country. The theme is 'Belonging and Connectedness' and they will be facilitated by Charlotte Knight, Capacity Development & Outreach Manager, Genio along with guest speakers.

These events provide an opportunity to Supported Self-Directed Living (SSDL) practitioners for networking, sharing of stories and a space to reflect on the successes and challenges of SSDL implementation; as well as some teaching and renewing of Social Role Valorisation (SRV) concepts.

Aimed at:

  • Experienced Supported Self-Directed Living practitioners who are interested in sharing their experiences of implementation and deepening their learning
  • SSDL graduates (including Endeavour for Excellence and Enabling Excellence participants)
  • Those with significant experience in implementing person-centred discovery and planning processes

The cost is €30 and places are limited. Register for the event in Mayo now.
