Mental Health 2014

In partnership with the Health Service Executive Mental Health Division and the Department of Health, Genio invited online expressions of interest (EoIs) for innovation funding to mental health projects across four streams in May 2014. Those shortlisted to proceed to the full application stage were invited to submit a detailed application form. Following rigourous evaluation a number of projects have been selected for innovation funding. Information on the Mental Health Projects selected for funding in 2014 is available on our website.

Funding streams

We invited expressions of interest for mental health projects in the following areas.

  • Stream 1 Supporting recovery: This stream was to assist with the implementation of Advancing Recovery in Ireland (ARI) across all of the mental health services in Ireland.
  • Stream 2 Supporting work: This stream was to develop opportunities to support people with mental health difficulties in work using the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach.
  • Stream 3 Supporting families and carers: This stream was to support families and carers of those experiencing mental health difficulties to be better able to support individuals while maintaining their own wellbeing.
  • Stream 4 Capacity building: This stream was to build on the expertise of individuals’ and family members’ experiences, enabling them to become fully participating members of area and other HSE management teams.

For detailed information about the funding, please download EoI Guidelines and Criteria.
