Dementia Programme 2013

​In partnership with the Atlantic Philanthropies and the Health Service Executive, Genio invited online applications for innovation funding to the Genio Dementia Programme across two streams in November 2013. Following rigourous evaluation eight projects have been selected for innovation funding across the two grant streams. Three projects were selected in the acute hospital sector at St. James's Hospital, Mercy University Hospital and Connolly Hospital. Five projects in the community sector were selected for funding in Louth, Kilkenny, Mallow, Roscommon and Leitrim

We invited applications in the following areas.

  • Stream 1: Integrated care pathways
    (Three year grants - acute hospital sector)

     
  • Stream 2: Individualised supports in the community
    (Two year grants - community sector)
