Funders choosing to invest in the Genio Trust can specify how they would like their funds ring-fenced for a particular purpose or purposes. Together we can agree criteria to assess applications.

All projects that benefit from a Genio Trust grant must meet the overall objectives of the Genio Trust by:

• Making a measureable improvement in people’s lives
• Being sustainable, cost-effective and innovative
• Agreeing to evaluation of impact and committing to shared learning

The Genio team combines a track record of experience, knowledge and relationships across the health and social sectors both in the statutory and not-for-profit areas. We consult and work closely with key stakeholders in the sectors where we provide support.

We have an open application system, which allows us to identify leaders within our communities. We promote our applications in the national press, through information seminars, websites, social media and mailing lists. This gives us the best possible chance to identify the best projects and leaders throughout the country.
