Genio launches new website

Genio are delighted to announce the launch of our brand new genio.ie website!

Thanks for your patience over the past few months as we used our interim website. With this new website we are delighted to introduce an easy-to-navigate design with access to a wider range of information. We hope to grow our online resources in the coming months to bring you more comprehensive news and updates.

You will notice our new features include our publications section where you can see footage from 'A Day in the Life'. We will feature shortly the profiles of six individuals who took part in our 'A Day in the Life' video project.

You can now email articles directly from our website to anyone you think may be interested by using our 'Send' option on the top right-hand corner of each page.

You can also sign up for our new email 'Information Updates' on our homepage. All we require is some basic contact information and we will send you updates on Genio activity. These will not be weekly updates clogging up your mail box! We will only email updates if we think it is of notable interest. Contact details will be used for 'Information Updates' purposes only and will not be passed on to any third party.

Genio is dedicated to meeting the needs of everyone who uses our site, and recognises the importance of complying with accessibility standards. We also recognise the challenge and benefits of creating a website that focuses not only on complying with standards, but on delivering an excellent online experience to the widest possible audience, including older people and users with disabilities.

We are still working on the structure of our website and recognise that more work needs to be done in terms of accessibility, especially relating to easy-to-read content and sub-titling our video content. We greatly appreciate your patience as we work towards achieving these goals.

In Genio we are always open to learning and welcome any feedback regarding your experience of using the site and any features you feel we could improve upon.

The new website is a result of the hard work of the guys in Owl Interactive . Many thanks to Kevin and Neil for their patience!

We hope you enjoy it. Please browse through and let us know what you think.
