Good practice guide for applications

Applications for Expressions of Interest to the Genio Dementia Project are now CLOSED. The deadline for applications was 5pm Friday 20th January 2012.

Profile of a good application

  • The application answers the questions asked
  • The information is communicated in short, concise paragraphs
  • The information provided is accurate and consistent
  • The objectives are realistic and achievable
  • There is a robust sustainability plan
  • The contact person for the application is knowledgeable about the details of the application

Profile of a poor application

  • The application doesn’t directly relate to, or answer, the questions asked
  • Extra information is provided, which hasn’t been requested
  • Jargon, long-winded sentences and overly-technical language is used
  • The same answer is given to more than one question
  • Vague or incorrect information is provided
  • The objectives are unrealistic
  • The sustainability plan is weak or no plan is given
  • The main contact person for the application is unfamiliar with the details of the application
