Our vision
A society that benefits by valuing all of its citizens
Our mission
To bring together government and philanthropy to develop, test, and, scale cost-effective ways of supporting people who are disadvantaged to live full lives in their communities
We do this by combining public and philanthropic resources to:
- Provide financial support as a catalyst for innovation and reconfiguring existing investment
- Build skills and leadership amongst key stakeholders to effect and sustain change
- Gather the required evidence to support system-wide change
Our strategic aim in current fields of operation (disability, mental health, and dementia)
To make supported self-directed living a feasible option for people in need
Our strategic objectives in these fields
- To develop the capacity of key stakeholders to establish and sustain cost-effective supported self-directed living options
- To demonstrate how resources can feasibly be deployed to ensure supported self-directed living can be made available to those in need on a cost-effective basis
- To develop and disseminate a clear evidence-base in Ireland for how to deliver and resource cost-effective supported self-directed living
